Operating Systems (Motorola MC68000)

Console emulation (potential)

Whether these emulators support operating systems for these consoles is unknown; it must be looked into further. Consoles without meaningful OSes are not included.

Einstein 4.0

Reminiscent of Windows, with nice dithering on the folder icons.

GroupOS

Categorizes programs by what they do, instead of their file type solely.

Reminds me of Mac OS. Automatically detects the calculator it runs on.

PedroM 0.83

Possibly the prestige version. A very awesome looking GNU GPL adhering Unix-style OS. Feature filled, capable, and flexible. Has USB support.

PreOS

A reasonable kernel with various functions, such as “Crash protection”. Has a developer version.

Prosit 0.81.1

Great looking shell, but it doesn’t do much with existing programs. Practically functions as an OS.

Punix

So far the kernel is being written, and user-space utilities and applications will follow.

Known as the prestige version of Punix. This OS is highly comprehensive, detailed, authentic, and sufficient for serving as a Unix-like. Almost complete, but there are known build issues. Remarkable work for this calculator, moreso than the 89.
