Flip Phones
Very similar to the Feature Phones, in the sense of “featureset below a smartphone but above a landline, with a keypad and a specific form factor”. In this case, the form factor is of a clamshell phone which can be opened and closed to reveal the display and keys. Like the feature phones, the architectures and OSes vary, as older flip phones were mostly obscure in this sense, while newer ones almost always pair Qualcomm ARM chips with an Android/Linux-based KaiOS install.

This guide should work for any Android/KaiOS device in general
Based off the bananahackers exploits, making this something conceivably practical on any such phone supported by it (refer to Websites-Dumbphones section for these phones)
Alcatel SmartFlip
Operating Systems (Qualcomm?)
No EOPs are available for this device.
This device, alongside a few other KaiOS phones, have all of the possible EOP methods blocked by the manufacturer. For now, nothing can be done with them.

nmcli didn't work for me, but iw dev wlan0 scan did the trick. Won't connect to any network thou
The phone must be rooted for this to work. The display works, as for Xwayland. However, the status for certain other functions are currently unknown. Nonetheless, it boots.

Debian thru BananaHacks methods
Similar method to the Alcatel, and probably also a chroot. Something to do with X11, if one looks at the reddit post…?

(Notes: wip)
This appears to run natively on the phone, depending on no KaiOS sublayer. It’s a WIP, and the screen seems to work. Further function is unknown.

Luckily, basic and feature phones have BREW, and so, we can install third-party browsers
