MSXes

Operating Systems

Uzix

UZIX 2.0 is a big improvement over version 1.0. The main differences are the bigger kernel, allowing more functions to be accomodated in the kernel, and a bigger application space

A quite comprehensive Unix-clone for the MSX computers, although this appears to be specifically targeted at computers of the MSX2 specifications. Two versions exist, of which one is more advanced but in a “Beta” state at the time of when development appeared to stop.
