7th Generation
The 7th generation of portable game consoles, and the first to possess an absolutely enormous amount of EOPs. Commonly considered as having began in 2004 with the release of the Nintendo DS and PSP, ending anywhere between 2011 with the release of the 3DS, and 2014 with the discontinuation of the PSP. As previously stated, this period had a large variety of EOPs available, helped by both the absolute legendary status of both the DS and PSP in this realm, and the large influx of new devices that weren't necessarily trying to compete with the 2 big names. Because of this, the 7th generation is easily one of the best portable generations for EOPs.
